Encounter
Sunday nights we seek to provide a more intimate time of Bible Study.
Students
and
“twenty-somethings” are welcomed into the homes of
HillSong members as they serve us a delicious meal and allow us to
use their homes for our
study and discussion.
This semester we are studying Luke’s account of the gospel. We’re
being challenged by Luke—to
reshape our worldview by acknowledging
and accepting his. We’re being built up, or encouraged by Luke as he
affirms the
truth of Jesus’ life and work. As a group—we’re
studying this
great account and seeking to truly understand what we’re reading
Acts 8:30). We’re seeking to become
more passionate about following
Jesus Christ.
Along with our study of
the gospel—we will engage in a conversation based on
William P. Young’s
The Shack. This work captures the relationship of God in
three
persons, and our relationship with our God. In growing more comfortable
talking about God in three persons, God’s call for reconciliation among
God’s
people, and God’s call for us to relate with God, we will become
better equipped
to accept Luke’s challenges in his account of the
Gospel.
Please join our group
for dinner and discussion any time—we would love to meet you!!!!
