| Using
Your Spiritual Gifts in Ministry
HillSong Church encourages our members and attenders
to serve by using their spiritual gifts to serve each other and
build up the body of Christ.
What are spiritual gifts?
Spiritual gifts
are special abilities given to us by the Holy Spirit when we accept
Christ as our Savior. We can only use them with the power of the
Holy Spirit. They are not natural talents or skills that can
be learned, but spiritual gifts can be used along with our talents,
skills, life experiences, personality traits, and other
characteristics. We are required to step out of our comfort zone
since we can't use spiritual gifts in our own strength.
Spiritual gifts
also
demonstrate how God wants the church to function. We're not
independent contractors, but members of a team.
Who has spiritual gifts?
Everyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord
