Our Mission:

To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by welcoming, informing, and serving those who attend our services.

Goal of the Welcome Ministry:

Making people feel at home by welcoming them with friendliness and by meeting their needs as guests at HillSong.

Because of what we do and how well we do it, our guests should:

• Desire to know more of what goes on here
• Be quickly relaxed and comfortable
• Seriously consider becoming part of who and what we are
• Believe they could grow closer to God here.

What we expect from our team members

1. This is a ministry commitment. Part of this commitment is to be present or on time unless you have notified your team captain. Be a team player.
2. Be on duty for the entire service, anticipating attendees’ needs.
3. Be courteous and respectful to all people at all times.
4. Accompany people (“let me take you”), don’t point and direct.
5. If a person has a problem, own the problem and stay with the person until the problem is solved.
6. Keep conversation with co-workers to a minimum while serving.
7. Look for ways to be a host each Sunday, not just when you’re officially “on duty”.
