General Information
Through missions
offerings and "hands-on" Servant Evangelism opportunities, HillSong
Church is involved in active mission outreach to our community,
nation, and world. We follow Christ's example by meeting the needs
of people so they might gain a saving knowledge of him. Having been
empowered by the Spirit (Acts 1:8), sustained by prayer (Acts 13:3),
and called out (Romans 10:15), we follow Christ and contribute to
local, state, national and international missions.
Servant Evangelism (SE)
is community service to show God's love in a practical way. SE
demonstrates his love by offering to do some humble act of service
with no strings attached. SE opportunities range from washing
people's windshields, to offering food baskets at holidays, to
passing out cold drinks on a hot day. Everyone is encouraged to
participate in these opportunities.
